Privacy policy
What personal data ARVION LLC collects through this website and the ARVION platform, why, for how long, and the rights that go with it.
1. Who is responsible
ARVION LLC is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact for privacy matters: contact@arvioon.io, or the postal address on the company information page.
2. Data we collect
Visitors to the website
The website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, requested page, time, browser type) for security and to operate the service; these logs are kept for a short period and are not used to profile visitors.
Correspondence
When you write to us, through the contact form (which opens your own email application) or directly, we receive your name, email address, the company you mention and the content of your message. We use them to answer you.
Merchants and their representatives
To open and operate an account we collect the identity and contact details of the business and of its representatives and beneficial owners, business registration documents, bank account details for payouts, and the information required by our payment partners for identity verification, anti-money-laundering and sanctions screening.
Merchants' customers
When a merchant uses the platform to accept a payment we process the transaction data needed to do so: amount, currency, payment method, the customer's name, email address, billing and delivery details where supplied, device and network information used for fraud screening, and the outcome of the transaction. We process this data on behalf of the merchant and of the payment partners that carry out the transaction. Full card numbers are handled only within PCI DSS compliant environments operated by those partners.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the platform: process payments, screen fraud, calculate tax, report, handle disputes and schedule payouts.
- To meet legal and partner obligations: identity verification, anti-money-laundering, sanctions screening, record keeping.
- To answer correspondence and provide support.
- To secure the website and the platform and to prevent abuse.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Who receives it
Data is shared with the regulated payment service providers and acquiring partners that process transactions and hold funds, with card networks and issuing banks as needed to complete a payment, with our hosting and email providers, and with authorities where the law requires it. Each recipient is bound by contract or by its own regulatory obligations. Some of these recipients may be located outside the United States; where that is the case, we rely on contractual safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
Transaction and account records are kept for the period required by financial and tax regulation and by our payment partners, generally seven years after the end of the relationship. Correspondence is kept for as long as is needed to deal with the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES 256-bit encryption. Access within ARVION is restricted to staff who need it to perform their role. Card data is processed in PCI DSS compliant environments.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask for its deletion, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Requests may be sent to contact@arvioon.io; we answer within 24 hours and complete requests within the time the applicable law allows. Where data is processed on behalf of a merchant, we may refer the request to that merchant.
8. Cookies
The website sets no analytics or advertising cookies. See the cookie policy.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is the one published on this page; material changes affecting account holders are notified by email.
