ARVION · Payment platform
Developers · REST API, SDKs, webhooks
One API, four SDKs, a test transaction within the hour.
The platform is integrated through a REST API, through the official libraries, or through plugins for the main commerce platforms. The listing below creates a payment in the shopper's currency and settles it in the merchant's.
import { Arvion } from "@arvion/js";
const client = new Arvion({ apiKey: "sk_live_7Hq3…" });
const payment = await client.payments.create({
amount: 4900, // minor units
currency: "EUR", // what the shopper pays in
settlementCurrency: "USD", // what you receive
customer: { email: "buyer@example.com", country: "DE" },
capture: "automatic",
});
console.log(payment.id, payment.status);
// "pay_01J…", "authorised"Contents
Six chapters · full text available on request
Chapter 1
Getting started
Create a test account, obtain API keys, install a SDK and run a first test transaction. Most teams finish this chapter within the hour.
Chapter 2
API reference
Every REST endpoint with its parameters and responses: payments, refunds, customers, payouts, disputes, reports and tax.
Chapter 3
SDKs
Official libraries for JavaScript (@arvion/js), Python, PHP and Ruby, with the same method names and the same error model.
Chapter 4
Guides
Step-by-step set-ups for online stores, SaaS billing, marketplaces with split payouts, mobile applications and subscriptions.
Chapter 5
Webhooks
Events for every change of state, signed and retried: payment authorised, captured, refunded, disputed, paid out.
Chapter 6
Best practices
Idempotency keys, handling declines, strong customer authentication, reconciliation of payouts, and going live.
The complete reference is issued with the API keys when an account is opened. Write to the help desk for access to a chapter before that.
